Don’t Say Goodbye to Long Nails Yet!
Sometimes, no matter how careful we are with our long nails, accidents happen and a nail got cracked. If it’s just a little split, no need to go to the extreme of cutting all your nails short. Here’s a DIY solution that you can do at home without rushing to a nail tech. All you need is an unused teabag, cottons, a pair of scissors, a bottle of nail glue, a cellophane bag, a nail buffer, and a clear base coat.
First, dry the all nails with a cotton pad that’s been wet with rubbing alcohol. This is to remove all the oils, lotion, or cream from your nails that will prevent the teabag from sticking to the split nail completely. Work on the split nail as instructed to prevent further damage. The tutorial video shows how to apply teabag to the cracked nail, how to protect it from peeling off, and how to remove it properly.
Once you apply nail polish to the repaired nail, you will not notice the difference at all!
This DIY solution will last for at least 4 nail polish changes when you use an Acetone-free polish remover and 3 polish changes when you use Acetone.
