How To Stamp Your Nails Like A Pro
This video will teach you some nail art stamping tips to create gorgeous nails like a pro! Here are the basic materials that you’ll need:
- A clear base coat to protect your nails from staining
- 3 nail polish in blue, purple and cream
- Quick-dry top coat to prevent stamper in damaging the nail polish
- Stamping nail polish in white, black, and gold
- Regular stamper, Clear Jelly Stamper, and Marshmallow Stamper
- Stamping Plate
#1 Using Regular Stamper
Stamping nail polish is ideal for stamping nail art because it is more opaque than a regular nail polish. The images would be clearer and more detailed than the latter. Always clean your stamper first with a clear tape before and after stamping. Use clear tape to remove excess stamping nail polish from the skin around your nails. Clean stamping plate by applying Acetone on it and wipe with cloth. If you would use regular nail polish instead of stamping nail polish, check all brands to see which one has more opacity. Test stamp each brand to know that. For nail detail, apply top coat to image in the stamper, wait to dry and peel off with tweezers. Apply top coat to nails and stick the nail detail.
#2 Using Clear Jelly Stamper
Clear Jelly Stamper enables you to see the image clearly when stamping. It enables you to see in which part of the nail you want to put the image. Use Acetone and small paint brush to clean the stamping nail polish around your cuticle.
#3 Using Marshmallow Stamper
Here’s another way to easily remove stamping nail polish from your skin. Apply liquid latex to skin around nails before you do some stamping. When picking up image from the stamping plate, just roll the Marshmallow Stamper lightly around the image. To ensure that your top coat will not damage the stamping nail art, test different top coat brands to see which one would not smear the design.
