Nail biting is a habit that usually stems from nervousness, stress, or anxiety. It starts at an early age. Kids who cannot or refuse to answer their parents’ questions out of fear of getting punished resort to biting their nails. When something upsets them, they munch on their nails. This became a habit that they do unconsciously even when they’re already adults.
I’ve been there myself, so I can relate to some of the reasons mentioned on this video. Instead of those “Long” and dragging videos about why I bite my nails the way I do, this one goes right to the point and suggests simple solutions. Nail biting is a bad habit that is hard to break, I know, but it’s something that we have to do eventually if we want to have a healthy mind and body.
Remember, it’s all in your mind… you can stop this silly habit if you REALLY want to. The mind is very powerful and it can make you do anything that you have set your mind into. Methods are only tools in which you can apply out of your desire to stop.
